Summer is Approaching are you and your dog ready?

Summer is approaching and life with your dog’s not what you envisioned !

This sad statement is very true for a lot of dog owners. Wether it‘s them dragging you from pillar to post or you dare not let them off lead as they won’t come back when called, or they bark and lunge at distractions, dogs, people, cats, bikes, joggers or even cars.

These can all make walks stressful for you and your dog. It is definitely not the pleasurable experience you wanted when you got your dog. Things do not always turn out the way we want.

Things can be difficult, they can change and improve with good training  Managing unwanted behaviours and understanding your dog’s behaviour and personality can improve day to day activities.

Sometimes it can be a few simple changes other times it is a lot of hard work and determination to get your dog to be the best dog they can be and for you and your dog to be calm, happy and fulfilled.

In my experience these 2 go hand in hand. If your dog isn’t happy, clam and fulfilled the owner generally isn’t either.

There are a lot of different techniques, methods and skills we can use to help you and your dog get to this stage.
